Our Story

My vision for this store is to be much more than simply selling objects. I want to showcase artists who are masters of their craft and simultaneously give back to nonprofits that are doing great work that is changing lives in a meaningful, sustainable, and fiscally sound way.

I created this company as an homage to my late mother, her admiration of Native American artists and love of intricate jewelry, and her compassion for helping those in need. You will find each collection contains complex and detailed pieces from specific artists who are experts in their crafts. A portion of all sales are donated to nonprofits that work to eradicate poverty and reduce food insecurity.

The Nonprofits

Rotary Foundation of Rotary International Formed in 1917, this 501(c)(3) works to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace by improving health, providing quality education, improving the environment and the alleviation of poverty. They hold a 4-star rating and 100% for the Accountability & Finance score from Charity Navigator and a Platinum Seal of Transparency from GuideStar, all of which are the highest rankings possible. Examples of some of their initiatives include an immunization program to eradicate polio; grants for university teachers in developing countries; local, regional, and global matching grants for international service projects with focus areas of providing clean water, fighting disease, promoting peace, growing local economies, saving mothers and children, supporting education, or protecting the environment. My wife has been a Rotarian for almost 20 years and was involved in an international Rotary project to bring maternal health supplies to northern Nepal.

Native American Heritage Association Founded in 1993, this 501(c)(3) provides health and food essentials to Native American communities in South Dakota and Wyoming. They operate seven programs throughout the region and distribute household goods, tools, and resources to communities in need. They hold an impressive 4-star rating and 96% Accountability and Finance score from Charity Navigator. They have a Platinum Seal of Transparency from GuideStar, the highest ranking possible. They spend approximately 97% of their annual income on their programs and services.
